Anita-Marie Laurie
Anita-Marie, who heads the firm’s West Coast restructuring practice, joined Sitrick And Company in 1997. She has been the lead executive or co-lead for some of the largest bankruptcy cases in the country, including Delphi and U.S. Airways, as well as a number of cross-border matters, including Loewen and Meridian Technologies. In all, Anita-Marie has been involved in more than 100 in- and out-of-court restructurings for both large and small, public companies and private corporations where her involvement has included communications strategy and media, materials preparation and consulting. Additionally, she has worked with a variety of clients on a number of issues including litigation; crisis, investor relations and finance. Prior to joining Sitrick, Anita-Marie worked for the City of Santa Barbara and McDonald’s Corporation, where she held various positions in the area of economic development and real estate investment. Anita-Marie holds an undergraduate degree in Humanities from Pepperdine University, where she also attended post graduate classes.
