Joseph Giunta
Joe was a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP for more than 25 years prior to joining Sitrick And Company as Managing Director and General Counsel. Joe concentrates on the firm’s M&A, litigation and corporate practices. During his tenure at Skadden, Mr. Giunta specialized in mergers and acquisitions –both friendly and hostile –proxy contests, tender offers, restructurings, recapitalizations and leveraged buyouts. Among others, Mr. Giunta has represented The Greenbrier Companies, Oaktree Capital Management LLC, the Special Committee of Times Mirror, the Special Committee of Spiros Development Corporation, Del Webb Corporation, Plum Creek Timber Co., Baxter International, Inc., CEMEX, S.A., Cobra Golf Inc., Costco Wholesale Corporation, Sapiens International Corp., Ron Howard and Brian Grazer and the Special Committee of the Board of Directors of St. John’s Knits. Joe received his law degree from the Washington College of Law at American University and completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University.
