Terry Fahn, is a senior member of the firm who specializes in strategic communications, litigation support, crisis and reputation management and transactional public relations. During his tenure at Sitrick And Company, which spans more than a decade, he has played major roles in the successful defense of former HP Chairman Patricia Dunn; advising the Fiesta Bowl on communications strategies related to a special investigation by its board of directors; the Beverly Hills Unified School District in its opposition to the construction of the Westside Subway Extension; a major university in response to an NCAA investigation; the Estate of Michael Jackson; the “Save Disney” withhold campaign by Roy Disney and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. He has also helped advised a number of high-profile professional athletes and celebrities including Alex Rodriguez, Dwight Howard and Paris Hilton.
Outside of his role advising clients on crisis and sensitive situations, he has worked with private equity firms, hedge funds and corporations on mergers and acquisitions, proxy contests and restructurings. He has also advised several national retailers, apparel companies, municipalities and government officials on a variety of public relations issues.
Mr. Fahn previously served as a Senior Vice President at Dick Clark Productions, where he was in charge of communications for such notable programming as the American Music Awards, Dick Clark’s New Years’ Rockin’ Eve, the Golden Globe Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards. Prior to joining Sitrick And Company, he was a litigation attorney at Christensen, Miller, Fink, Jacobs, Glaser, Weil & Shapiro, LLP.
Mr. Fahn has been a featured speaker and panelist on crisis management and public relations issues, including at the American Bar Association Forum on Sports and Entertainment; the Public Relations Society of America – LA and the Santa Clara University Institute of Sports Law and Ethics.
Mr. Fahn is a member of the Sitrick And Company Management Committee and an inactive member of the California State Bar. He holds a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law and a BA in Communications from the University of Denver.
