Terry Fahn specializes in strategic communications, crisis and reputation management and litigation support matters. During his tenure at Sitrick he has represented and advised John Schnatter, founder of Papa John’s; former HP Chairman Patricia Dunn; the Fiesta Bowl; the former CEO of Oriental Trading Company in a criminal and civil dispute with Harrah’s over alleged gambling debts; a high-profile University that was the subject of an NCAA investigation; the Estate of Michael Jackson; the “Save Disney” withhold campaign by Roy Disney and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. He has also worked with a number of high-profile professional athletes and celebrities including Dwight Howard and Alex Rodriguez, and advised a number of private equity firms, hedge funds and corporations on mergers and acquisitions, proxy contests and restructurings, and worked with several national retailers, apparel companies, municipalities and government officials on a variety of public relations issues.
Mr. Fahn previously served as a Senior Vice President at Dick Clark Productions where he was in charge of corporate communications and managed the media for the American Music Awards, Dick Clark’s New Years’ Rockin’ Eve, the Golden Globe Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards. Prior to joining Sitrick And Company he was a litigation attorney at Christensen, Miller, Fink, Jacobs, Glaser, Weil & Shapiro, LLP.
Mr. Fahn has been a featured speaker and panelist on crisis management and public relations issues, including at the American Bar Association Forum on Sports and Entertainment; the Public Relations Society of America – LA and the Santa Clara University Institute of Sports Law and Ethics.
Mr. Fahn is a member of the Sitrick And Company Management Committee and a member of the California State Bar. He holds a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law and a BA in Communications from the University of Denver.
