Sallie Hofmeister joined Sitrick And Company in 2013 after more than two decades in daily newspaper journalism, serving as a business editor for the New York Times and as a reporter and editor for the Los Angeles Times. As an assistant managing editor of the Los Angeles Times, Ms. Hofmeister oversaw arts and entertainment coverage, including an expansion of the paper’s digital properties. She was the paper’s first female business editor and prior to becoming an editor, was a reporter covering the television business, the media consolidation of the 90s, the dominant industry personalities and the early stages of the convergence of entertainment and technology. She was part of a team that was a finalist for spot news reporting in the 1997 Pulitzer Prizes. A native of upstate New York, she has a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Kansas State University.
